Returns & Refunds

We stand behind every piece that leaves our hands. Here is exactly what that means.

Every Local & Legend shirt and hat is made specifically for you the moment you place your order. That means no warehouse full of generic inventory — just your piece, made with intention, printed and shipped directly to you. Because of that process we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect size selection. We ask that you double check your size and order details before placing your order.

That said — if something arrives damaged, defective, or just plain wrong, we will make it right. No runaround. No fine print. Just a straight resolution.


What We Cover

If your order arrives with any of the following issues, we will offer a free reprint or a full refund — your choice:

  • Manufacturing defects — misprints, ink smearing, poor print alignment, or fading
  • Damaged in transit — items that arrive torn, broken, or damaged by shipping
  • Wrong item received — incorrect product, size, color, or design sent due to a fulfillment error

What We Do Not Cover

The following are not eligible for a return, reprint, or refund:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Incorrect size or color selected by the customer at checkout
  • Minor color variation between screen displays and printed products — this is normal and expected across all print on demand products
  • Orders where a customer provided design file was low resolution or incorrect
  • Damage caused by washing or improper care after delivery

How to Submit a Claim

We keep this simple because it should be.

If something is wrong with your order reach out to us within 30 days of your delivery date at Admin@localandlegend.com with the following:

  1. Your order number
  2. A clear photo of the issue
  3. A brief description of what went wrong

We will review your claim within 3 to 5 business days and follow up with a resolution — either a reprint at no charge or a full refund to your original payment method. We do not leave people hanging.


Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card provider. We do not issue refunds as store credit unless you specifically request it.


Exchanges

Because every Local&Legend piece is printed on demand, we are unable to process traditional exchanges. If your item arrives defective, we will send a replacement the moment your claim is approved.


Lost or Stolen Packages

We pack every order with care and ship it with tracking. However, once a package is confirmed as delivered by the carrier it falls outside of what we are able to control or guarantee. If your tracking shows delivered but your order has not arrived — check with neighbors and your local carrier first.

If you still cannot locate your package reach out to us at Admin@localandlegend.com and we will do everything we can to help. We cannot guarantee resolution for packages confirmed as delivered but we will always show up for our customers and do our best.
